Discussion by topic

  • Topic 1009, [2610 Grant] Predge, disputable USDRIF payments without an escrow agent, Milestone 1 (Grants and Incentives):
  • Kath was supportive but wanted proof in practice, stressing fairness on both sides: if a buyer says work was not delivered, the provider should get a fair chance to explain, and buyers also need a way to challenge the result.
  • predge replied to IBUKI that the 30/20/50 split maps to three linked payments, one per stage. Each stage is deposited into the contract before that work starts, so the contractor can check on-chain that the next stage is funded before mobilising, and pause if the deposit is missing by the agreed date.
  • predge replied to Kath that the provider is never judged on the buyer's word alone. The acceptance test is fixed before work starts and both sides see it. If the buyer contests, both sides file evidence during the dispute window and a ruling must point to evidence already filed.
  • Topic 1011, RPCDrift: Rootstock RPC Compatibility and Regression Testing (Grants and Incentives):
  • Seviramar asked for clarification on differentiation and existing infrastructure, specifically how RPCDrift relates to Rootstock's existing integration-test repository.
  • Carl responded that RPCDrift is not intended to replace Rootstock's core integration-test suite; its focus is downstream application compatibility, verifying that external applications and infrastructure work against Rootstock's RPC.
  • Topic 977, [2609 Grant] Kleros Foresight, Grant Completion Markets, Milestone 1 (Grants and Incentives):
  • JuanRah replied to Tane that the participation targets in the proposal are activity floors, not the FES case. The FES case for this grant is built from the components V3.3 already lists: the USDRIF liquidity Kleros places on Rootstock (TVL), the trading volume the markets generate, and the addresses.

Sentiment

Supportive and constructive on the Predge thread, where Kath engages positively while setting a proof-in-practice bar and predge responds transparently. The RPCDrift thread is mixed but constructive, with Seviramar pressing on differentiation and Carl clarifying scope. The Kleros Foresight thread is a constructive Q&A, with JuanRah clarifying that participation targets are activity floors rather than the FES case.
