This site is small. The notice should match.
anode.gg is a static marketing site. There are no user accounts. This page explains who the controller is, what personal data is processed when you visit or write to us, and what rights you may have.
Terms such as personal data, processing, controller, and processor are used in the ordinary GDPR sense: information about an identifiable person; any use of that information; the organization that decides why and how; and a service that handles it on that organization’s instructions.
Who is responsible
The controller is:
- Legal entity
- MemeFactory Media LLC
- Operating as
- Anode Research
- Address
- 2803 Philadelphia Pike, Suite B, 19703 Claymont, DE, USA
- Privacy contact
- admin@anode.gg
What personal data we process
We process two kinds of personal data on this site:
- Emails you send to Anode. If you write to us, we process the personal data in that message—typically your email address, the content of the message, and anything else you choose to include.
- Routine hosting logs. Vercel, which hosts the site, records ordinary server and edge logs when a page is requested. Those logs typically include an IP address, a user agent, and timestamps. That is typical CDN / edge telemetry, not a profile we build about you.
What we do not collect
There are no user accounts on this website.
The instant-runoff (IRV) simulator runs fully in your browser. Ballots and votes stay on your device. They are not sent to Anode servers.
We have not added analytics products, advertising pixels, or other tracking tools to this site.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to inquiries. We read and reply to messages you send us. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a professional practice, and, where it applies, taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
- Operating and securing the website. Hosting logs help deliver the site, keep it available, and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure public website.
Who else receives the data
Vercel is our hosting provider and processes hosting logs as a processor on our behalf (and for its own infrastructure, in line with its role as host). We do not sell personal data.
Contact emails are received by the controller so we can respond. We do not pass them around as a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Contact emails are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and related records—for example a follow-up, or a simple record of what was asked.
Hosting logs follow the host’s retention practices. That period is short and operational, not a long-term archive we use for profiling.
International transfers
The controller is based in the United States. Hosting may process personal data in the US and in other places where Vercel operates. If you visit or write from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, that can mean your personal data is processed in the US.
We rely on our host to apply appropriate safeguards for its transfers. We are not restating a specific contractual clause here that we have not independently verified. If you want more detail about a particular transfer, email admin@anode.gg.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data
- rectify inaccurate personal data
- erase personal data
- restrict processing
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, typically where you live or work
To exercise a right, email admin@anode.gg. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.
Cookies
This site does not set analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies. There is no cookie banner because we do not use cookies for tracking or extra functionality.
Vercel may use strictly necessary technical cookies, or equivalent request data, as part of delivering and securing the site. Those are hosting defaults, not marketing tools we have added.
