Discussion by topic

  • Topic 1009, [2610 Grant] Predge, Milestone 1 (Grants and Incentives):
  • predge replied to IBUKI on how disputes are handled. The checks are deliberately boring and objective: HTTP status, content type, required fields, a JSON schema, an expected file hash, a time limit. Both sides see the exact test before any money moves.
  • Seviramar was supportive, appreciating the transparency that separates what exists from what does not and the disclosure of incidents and pre-revenue status. Seviramar called the underlying problem (no recourse when a final payment on Rootstock is not fulfilled) real, and noted the design with non-upgradeable contracts, on-chain caps, deadline refunds and an audit.
  • IBUKI shared a practical use case from a Japan-based demolition business: repeated payment delays between companies even after agreed work was completed. IBUKI suggested it could be useful for a future template, with payments divided into phases in construction and demolition contracts.

Sentiment

Supportive and constructive. Seviramar and IBUKI both engage positively with the Predge proposal, and IBUKI adds a real-world use case rather than raising an objection. The new RPCDrift proposal has no discussion yet.
