Discussion by topic

[2508 Grant Proposal] Winks.fun: On-chain actions on Rootstock within Twitter, topic 546

  • winksdotfun (grantee): Explained the Winks explorer. When a Wink sends a transaction, the app posts the hash to their API under the Wink's key, then looks it up on a Rootstock node pulling from, to, value, status, and block number directly from the chain, dropping rows the chain contradicts. Chain data is the source of truth for attribution.
  • winksdotfun (grantee): Addressed the numbers: counted every successful DOC mint on the MoC contract (0xf773…8370) from 16 to 28 Sept across both mint entry points, excluding test wallet and failed attempts. Result: 7 mints from 6 distinct wallets in the window (~18 mints / ~15 wallets over 30 days). Acknowledged the window is short.
  • Tane (delegate and committee): Pushed back on the target. The walkthrough answers attribution inside Winks, but the "12 mints from 8 wallets" threshold requires every counted mint to carry the Wink's on-chain marker and be verifiable on the Rootstock explorer alone, and the four counted mints may fall short. Open question on verification methodology.

[2609 Grant] Kleros Foresight, Grant Completion Markets, Milestone 1, topic 977

  • JuanRah (grantee): Replied to Curia's scope question: first considered a market for every milestone, then narrowed focus to grant completion as the primary use case (text cut off). Grantee actively engaging with reviewer questions.

Sentiment

  • Winks.fun (topic 546): Mixed, under scrutiny. Grantee is responsive with concrete on-chain figures, but Tane's follow-up is critical on the core verification question, whether the described explorer logic alone satisfies the stricter wallet and threshold verifiability standard. Expect more pushback.
  • Kleros Foresight (topic 977): Supportive and constructive. Normal Q&A between reviewer (Curia) and grantee (JuanRah) over milestone vs. overall-completion design. No opposition.

What to watch

  • Winks.fun verification concern: Tane challenged whether the "12 mints / 8 wallets" threshold is verifiable on the Rootstock explorer alone, not just inside the Winks app. This is the live friction point worth tracking; the grantee may revise the target or strengthen on-chain verifiability.
  • Kleros Foresight Milestone 1 is progressing through review Q&A, on track, no blockers.
  • No new applicants, no votes imminent, no contentious items requiring immediate action.
